Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and oversee the TSF, growth media and hardshell facilities, and site roads through planning, inspection, monitoring, maintenance, and contractor coordination.
  • •Ensure compliance with project permits and the Operations, Maintenance, and Surveillance (OMS) Manual, including TSF integrity, safety, and environmental performance.
  • •Perform routine TSF inspections, monitor instrumentation for performance trends, and track and communicate corrective actions from findings.
  • •Support forecasting, tracking, and reporting of waste streams deposited in the TSF, including recommendations for operational requirements.
  • •Manage contractor/consultant activities for TSF projects and coordinate TSF stacking and deposition, plus growth media and hardshell placement activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •5+ years of experience in mining, civil construction, geotechnical, tailings and dam management, or related heavy industry.
  • •Project management or coordination experience for construction, tailings deposition, water management, and/or instrumentation.
  • •Experience with geotechnical or tailings monitoring systems and data (e.g., vibrating wire piezometers, InSAR, geotechnical radar).
  • •Experience coordinating mine road maintenance, traffic management plans, and contractor activities.
