Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling and delivering retail banking products and fee income services while providing personalized service.
  • •Establish and periodically update clients’ understanding of financial needs using profiling and personal financial planning; coordinate with financial advisors on investment accounts for asset allocation objectives.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, and investment trends affecting clients, and serve as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their CPAs.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing new products, and monitoring sales activity, pipeline, and contact management information.
  • •Maintain working relationships with Truist IRM partners and external centers of influence to support integrated client service and business development; operate within audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree with concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience and related training.
  • •Minimum of five years of financial services experience working with clients dealing with banking, investments, and/or retail lending, or one year in a financial client relationship manager role.
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory/insurance and investment management/asset allocation concepts for the mass affluent market.
  • •Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) plus FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) and applicable insurance licenses must be active/maintained, with additional SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act and NMLS compliance requirements within specified timelines.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, relationship management, and communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
