Key Responsibilities

  • •Own AIRS production outcomes including ramp plans, new product introductions, headcount planning, and on-time delivery targets.
  • •Serve as a strategic leader and hands-on executor for AIRS manufacturing from low-rate initial production through full-rate production.
  • •Lead and develop cross-functional manufacturing teams, establishing clear career paths and a high-performance culture.
  • •Drive the full lifecycle of IDCA and infrared module manufacturing process design, documentation, continuous improvement, and high yield/quality/efficiency.
  • •Strategize and execute initiatives to increase production capacity, including specifying, sourcing, installing, and qualifying new process equipment; implement preventive maintenance and equipment spares programs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 190,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, math, or a hard science.
  • •8+ years of progressive manufacturing or production operations experience in a deeply technical hardware industry.
  • •3+ years of experience in a production leadership role managing cross-functional teams across manufacturing engineering, quality, and technicians.
  • •Professional experience with high-vacuum systems and/or cooled thermal imaging, including Dewars, coolers, and IDCAs.
  • •Proven track record owning yield and process improvement (ideally with Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent) and experience ramping from new product introduction through full-rate production.
