Key Responsibilities

  • •Guard, patrol, and/or monitor venue premises to prevent theft, violence, and rule infractions.
  • •Watch for irregularities including security breaches, facility/safety hazards, and emergencies; contact emergency responders as required.
  • •Approach suspicious persons or notify police as appropriate; may confront and detain violators until police arrive.
  • •Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a motor vehicle; examine doors, windows, and gates and monitor buildings for unauthorized persons or suspicious activities.
  • •Investigate and compile accurate incident reports; comply with security policies, procedures, and performance standards.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • •Understanding of the rule of law and relevant penal codes.
  • •Ability to perform effectively in crises and work under pressure with composure.
