Job Summary

Lead and grow the R&D and QC team focused on automotive adhesives and construction products. Drive formulation optimization, scale-up to pilot and production, maintain documentation, and ensure quality and EHS compliance while collaborating with Sales, Production, and Supply Chain to enable innovation and manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and develop the R&D and QC team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management; allocate resources effectively for timely project execution.
•Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, quality, and safety; promote laboratory best practices and ensure EHS compliance.
•Provide technical presentations and training to customers, distributors, and internal teams.
•Support customer qualification, field trials, and product approvals; work with Sales and Marketing to identify market opportunities.
•Drive scale-up, process validation, and technology transfer from R&D to production; collaborate with Operations to reduce waste and improve consistency.

Key Requirements

•Master or Doctoral degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
•10+ years of experience in adhesive product development, preferably in automotive or industrial adhesives.
•At least 3 years of people management experience in R&D or Quality.
•Automotive, textile lamination, packaging, or industrial adhesive experience is preferred.
•Strong knowledge of DOE, SPC, and quality tools; Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and EHS requirements is an advantage.
