Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver cybersecurity software solutions using appropriate development methodologies while incorporating operational security into design, development, and testing.
  • •Lead and mentor by collaborating to produce high-assurance code, conducting constructive peer reviews, and sharing knowledge with junior team members.
  • •Design, develop, test, and document software following business and industry best practices, using continuous integration where appropriate.
  • •Identify security flaws during solution design and implementation and propose mitigations.
  • •Adapt to emerging technologies, tools, and language trends by assessing and communicating related risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Familiarity with development tools (IDEs, debuggers, source control) and techniques such as unit testing, mocking, continuous integration, and test-driven development.
  • •Knowledge of high-assurance development principles and the importance of IT security for companies and governments.
  • •Intermediate to advanced understanding of computing principles such as stack/heap and compiled vs. interpreted languages.
  • •Proficiency with at least one solution language (e.g., C++, Java, or C#) and one utility language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Perl, or PowerShell).
  • •Experience mentoring others and/or leading technical tasks.
