Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage institutional equity securities lending portfolio activity to maximize client revenue within approved risk, collateral, liquidity, and counterparty guidelines.
  • •Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers/prime brokers to optimize lending demand and portfolio performance.
  • •Identify and monetize lending opportunities across general collateral, specials, corporate actions, index events, rights issues, tender offers, and other demand drivers.
  • •Price, book, monitor, and manage equity total return swap transactions, including risk monitoring (delta, financing, dividend, corporate action, liquidity, counterparty) and P&L volatility.
  • •Operate within control and governance frameworks, ensuring accurate bookings, reconciliation, billing, and exception management across securities lending and swap activity.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience across securities lending, equity finance, prime brokerage and/or synthetic financing.
  • •Strong understanding of equity markets, borrow demand, specials, corporate actions, collateral mechanics, margining, trade lifecycle events, and securities finance economics.
  • •Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and improve portfolio performance within a controlled trading environment.
  • •Experience engaging with broker-dealers/prime brokers and other securities finance counterparties, with knowledge of trading controls, best execution, and counterparty credit risk.
  • •Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including comfort with large datasets and portfolio analytics (Excel; Python/SQL/Power BI advantageous).
