Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling, delivering, and providing ongoing service for retail banking products and services.
  • •Develop and update understanding of client financial needs using personal financial planning analysis, and coordinate with advisors for investment account adherence to objectives and policies.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, investment trends, and market issues; act as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their professionals.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing new products, and supporting the sales management process and referral guidelines.
  • •Ensure compliant client portfolio performance by working within audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks and collaborating with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience and training.
  • •Minimum five years of financial services experience with clients across banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year in a financial client relationship manager role).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, investment management, and asset allocation concepts for the mass affluent market.
  • •Maintain active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) and applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable) or obtain within 100–150 days; transfer active FINRA licenses within 60 days.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, relationship management, and communication skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
