Key Responsibilities

  • •Work in a cross-functional project team to deliver RF hardware and antenna solutions for in-house Dyson projects.
  • •Define requirements, produce design documents, perform technical risk analysis, and investigate to solve problems.
  • •Design RF hardware, perform simulation, and validate designs through comprehensive laboratory RF design verification.
  • •Ensure designs meet product specifications and functional requirements including performance, reliability, DFM, cost, and international regulatory compliance.
  • •Collaborate with Radio Compliance teams and wireless certification labs to obtain required certifications; support manufacturing RF tester requirements and provide on-site support as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree-qualified in a relevant electronics discipline (Electronics/Telecommunications/RF-Microwave Engineering) or equivalent.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of experience in RF system design with proven delivery of connected products.
  • •Experience developing products using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC technologies and emerging protocols like Matter, with embedded antenna systems.
  • •Experience with regulatory RF testing for low power radio products and related radio compliance test house activities.
  • •Knowledge of RF circuit design and RF PCB design considerations, including working with schematic capture/PCB layout tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics, Altium).
