Job Summary

Join the Next Gen Systems team to support development of the Collins Flight Deck avionics systems. You’ll collaborate with systems, software, integration, and test engineers to refine requirements and interfaces, contribute to avionics architecture activities, help plan and develop verification tests, and support integration and troubleshooting in lab and development environments. This is a strong role for learning the full systems lifecycle in a safety-critical aerospace domain.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with a cross-functional team of systems, software, integration, and test engineers to develop and deliver avionics system solutions.
•Support development, analysis, and refinement of system requirements and interfaces.
•Contribute to verification planning and test development to ensure implementations satisfy system requirements.
•Participate in technical reviews of requirements, design artifacts, and test procedures, incorporating feedback into your work.
•Assist with system integration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in lab and development environments.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline.
•Support development, analysis, and refinement of system requirements and interfaces.
•Contribute to verification planning and test development to ensure implementations satisfy system requirements.
•Experience with one or more of the following tools/languages is a plus: Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Cameo, or similar engineering tools.
•Coursework or project experience related to systems engineering, embedded systems, software development, aerospace, or controls is preferred.
