Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialist input on terms of insurance cover placed for clients.
  • •Advise clients and network offices on terms of cover in conjunction with the Broking team.
  • •Negotiate with underwriters on individual placements in conjunction with the Broking team.
  • •Draft and negotiate terms of cover provided under Aon facilities; assist in product design and implementation.
  • •Train Broking teams on coverage issues and stay updated on legal and regulatory developments affecting insurance coverage.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have substantial experience interpreting insurance policy wordings and drafting clear policy language in Professional Indemnity and/or Cyber insurance.
  • •Significant experience as an insurance lawyer in the London market, transactional or contentious.
  • •Ability to draft, negotiate, and design terms of cover with brokers and underwriters; experience with policy design a plus.
  • •Experience working within a team of coverage specialists across a global network; hybrid working arrangement.
  • •Strong communication skills and willingness to train brokers on coverage issues.
