Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide direct and indirect nursing care using the nursing process to a specific patient population.
  • •Perform basic and advanced patient assessments to identify outcomes and determine normal versus abnormal characteristics.
  • •Assure quality of care by measuring outcomes against patient care goals and making or recommending necessary adjustments.
  • •Administer medications and therapeutic agents, and perform clinical procedures including skin tests, immunizations, and phlebotomy.
  • •Plan, document, and communicate patient care (including emergency procedures when indicated) and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record.
