Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide world-class onboarding for newest Vehicle Transporters during a 2-week training period.
  • •Serve as the primary trainer on maneuvering, maintaining, and operating car trailers and logistics equipment.
  • •Teach safe loading methods for vehicles onto a 9-car hauler, preventing customer vehicle damage.
  • •Conduct classroom and hands-on training, and provide feedback, coaching, and knowledge-transfer techniques.
  • •Perform ongoing driver education and evaluations using skills matrices and assessment checklists, coordinating with Logistics Managers for a smooth transition to on-the-job work.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
  • •21+ years old and able to speak, read, and write English.
  • •More than two years of CDL driving experience; vehicle hauling experience preferred; CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
  • •Must be able to maintain a DOT Medical card and safely handle loading requirements (including lifting/carrying up to 60 pounds).
  • •System and on-the-job training experience preferred; Smith Systems training/certification preferred or willing to become certified.
