Job Summary

Lead a cross-functional Agile team supporting the AN/TPY-2 missile defense radar program. Own the Agile backlog, convert work into user stories with acceptance criteria, and oversee technical, schedule, and financial execution. Perform radar system performance assessments, validate requirements with test scenarios, develop mission plans and radar inputs, and run performance gap analyses and trade studies. Also contribute to proposal efforts and coordinate software/integration/testing for enhanced radar capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the Agile team backlog by refining and prioritizing tasks, translating work into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
•Run Agile refinement and planning activities, including breaking epics into smaller stories and setting sprint objectives.
•Oversee technical, financial, and schedule execution, including milestone planning, schedule development, earned value tracking, and managing competing priorities.
•Perform radar system performance assessments and validate performance by verifying requirements and generating scenarios for testing.
•Lead design, prototyping, software development, integration, testing, and analysis of new or enhanced radar capabilities, and support proposal efforts and team financial planning.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
•Experience leading a technical effort.
•Experience overseeing and/or monitoring technical cost and schedule performance.
•Experience in radar systems engineering, signal processing analysis, or performance assessment within a defense or aerospace environment.
•Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for automated scripting, data visualization, and modeling.
