Lead gameplay animation for an exciting new IP, collaborating with highly skilled developers and cross-functional teams to elevate the studio and game. Direct and mentor a team of animators, applying animation principles, gameplay fundamentals, and motion-capture workflows to deliver high-quality animations and systems. Work with game design mechanics, AI behavior, narrative, and facial animation, incorporate feedback, troubleshoot tool implementations, and recommend workflow improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and support a team of animators with clear direction, feedback, and mentorship.
•Apply animation principles, gameplay fundamentals, and motion-capture techniques to craft high-quality animations and systems.
•Translate game design mechanics and related elements (3Cs, AI behavior, narrative, camera and facial animation) into strong animation work.
•Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve shared creative goals and deliver polished gameplay experiences.
•Troubleshoot tool implementations and recommend workflow improvements to increase team effectiveness.

Key Requirements

•Credited experience on at least one shipped AAA game title.
•Expertise in game engines and building animation systems.
•Experience with motion capture workflows, including editing and cleanup.
