Key Responsibilities

  • •Own strategy, priorities, and outcomes for the Model Exploitation & Fraud mission area, including what the team detects, investigates, actions, and shares.
  • •Hire, manage, and develop a team of technical threat investigators, setting the quality bar for casework and intelligence reporting.
  • •Independently lead complex investigations and direct, prioritize, and resource investigations into model distillation, unauthorized AI R&D usage, unauthorized access, account abuse, and fraud/scam networks.
  • •Drive redesign of triage for a high-volume detection pipeline by partnering with investigators and engineering to build abuse signals, clustering, and agentic investigation workflows.
  • •Own external engagement for the area, including regular intelligence sharing with U.S. government partners and industry peers, and coordinate mitigation work with policy, enforcement, and engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •Have led and managed investigative, fraud, platform integrity, or threat intelligence teams, ideally with senior, specialized individual contributors.
  • •Have strong domain fluency in scaled abuse, including fraud patterns, account abuse, unauthorized access, or exploitation economics, to set priorities and pressure-test findings.
  • •Be proficient in SQL and Python to review data-heavy casework, validate conclusions, and provide surge capacity.
  • •Have experience overseeing investigations tracking threat actors across surface, deep, and dark web environments, including reseller and access-broker communities.
  • •Have working familiarity with large language models and how they can be distilled, extracted, or exploited at scale.
