Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end commercial underwriting, structuring, documentation, and risk evaluation for the most complex middle-market credit relationships.
  • •Own portfolio management by monitoring performance/trends, defining client credit solutions, maintaining risk rating integrity, and managing annual reviews and compliance/regulatory review.
  • •Drive client relationship growth through consistent, direct client calling efforts aligned to credit policy, pricing, and risk acceptance criteria.
  • •Serve as subject matter expert by partnering with investment banking peers and sharing industry trend insights across the PM organization.
  • •Manage deal team execution and provide mentorship/coaching to junior PMs, associates, and analysts; may oversee direct reports and span of control.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance (or related field).
  • •7–10+ years of progressive experience in middle market credit and/or mid-corporate underwriting, leveraged finance, sponsor finance, and portfolio management in a bank or direct lending environment.
  • •Mastery-level proficiency with MS Office desktop applications.
  • •Sound credit skills with strong attention to detail.
