Key Requirements

  • •Deep knowledge of Java internals and JVM memory management, including concurrency models, with experience writing high-performance, thread-safe, lock-free code.
  • •Proven ability to profile and optimize distributed systems, including benchmarking tools such as JMH and Rally, identifying performance regressions, and applying algorithmic or hardware-aware optimizations.
  • •Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture (e.g., partition tolerance, cluster state propagation, scaling challenges) in large-scale data stores.
  • •Track record of using AI or advanced tooling to accelerate optimization, debug complex performance issues, and automate benchmarking workflows.
  • •Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and work autonomously, driving decisions through asynchronous communication in a distributed environment.
