•Develop labels by selecting materials, adhesives, coatings, and inks to meet application, printer compatibility, and manufacturability requirements.
•Lead laboratory and pilot-scale research to create technical deliverables and replicate manufacturing scenarios for scale-up.
•Support production introductions by solving production issues and coordinating experiments and technical expertise with internal teams.
•Explore adjacent disruptive technologies and build knowledge across the label ecosystem (including RFID, thermal printers, and IoT devices).
•Manage stage-gate technical development plans and milestones, translate voice-of-customer into technical requirements, and create invention disclosures for intellectual property.

•Knowledge of materials science, paper materials, adhesives, coatings, inks, food packaging, and flexo printing.
•Experience with component solutions development and testing, including device compatibility studies.
•Experience with the Stage Gate process and strong project management skills.
