Job Summary

Maintain Gulf Air and third-party aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance schedules, performing routine and non-routine maintenance across A&C and Avionics as applicable. Ensure on-time departures after scheduled/unscheduled checks, accompany aircraft for short-notice schedule changes, and support AOG recoveries as needed. Keep station manuals/technical publications and station “impress” up to date, manage bonded stores, and provide accurate station message debriefs to the Maintenance Control Centre.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform routine and non-routine maintenance of Gulf Air aircraft (including A&C and Avionics) within approval scope.
•Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on third-party aircraft where type approval is held (including A&C and Avionics).
•Ensure on-time departures upon completion of relevant scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks.
•Accompany aircraft to support schedule changes at short notice and travel when required for AOG recovery and pre-departure checks.
•Maintain station Manuals/Technical Publications and the station “impress”, keep bonded store/office clean and serviceable, and send accurate station debriefs to the Maintenance Control Centre; deputize for the Station Engineer when needed.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•5+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance, including at least 3 years as a certifying engineer.
•Must hold an Aircraft Engineer License recognized by the Authority and Gulf Air Technical Quality Department.
•Hold a minimum of one or two Aircraft Type.
•Carry out routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance within scope of approval (including A&C and Avionics).
•Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on third-party aircraft for which you hold type approval (including A&C and Avionics).
