Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate materials within and between areas to meet scheduled ship dates and drive results on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.
  • •Review and update order/material status with supervisors, material control personnel, production teams, customer service, and KanBan expeditors; run regular multi-functional production meetings.
  • •Review orders and documentation (drawings, bills of material, travel documents) to ensure the team has the right information and troubleshoot documentation issues.
  • •Use computer systems (including Microsoft Excel, DMM, Enovia, AS400, and the Material Synchronization Spreadsheet) to maintain floor stock and floor records; attend tier meetings and manage required system/email updates.
  • •Process surplus/rejected/defective material per procedures, problem-solve missing/incorrect items, monitor production tasks (turnbacks, Kanban list, crane sheets, SPCs), and act as backup team lead when needed.
