Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage technical and techno-economic analyses, design aspects, and technical project management of utility-scale BESS technologies and BESS hybrid solutions
  • •Provide technical guidance and leadership throughout development lifecycles
  • •Prepare and agree on project specifications, budgets, and timescales with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders
  • •Define basic design and create or review test procedures for hybrid plant components such as foundations, batteries, and converters
  • •Support strategic planning, resource allocation, and alignment with organizational engineering plans and objectives

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science
  • •Master’s degree related in electrical/mechanical/chemical engineering or related field
  • •6-8 years of relevant work experience in BESS technologies and at least 3 years leading the technical stream of large-scale BESS hybrid projects
  • •Ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • •Proficiency in Hybrid simulation tools, exposure to hybrid power plant simulation tools, and knowledge of photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage systems, and grid energy management systems
