Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery at times during installation for testing purposes.
  • •Confidently remove and replace ignition systems, integrate keypad and telematics communication, and handle wiring harness scenarios including CAN network access.
  • •Identify and resolve problems by gathering and analyzing information and developing alternative solutions when needed.
  • •Travel to client sites or EquipmentShare rental yards across the region for installation cases and occasionally work outside business hours or weekends.

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills with tools; own tools with some specialty tools provided.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer); prior telematics experience not required (training provided).
  • •Proficient with iPhone/mobile phone technology and basic computer navigation.
  • •Be able to travel within a 250-mile radius for up to a week at a time and pass a background check and 10-panel drug screen.
