Job Summary

Provide subject-matter expertise and oversight for regulatory compliance risks across the bank’s mortgage products and lines of business. Support compliance programs through risk and control assessments (RCSA) and compliance risk assessments (CCRA) in the firm’s GRC platform, ensuring accurate risk ratings and rationale. Synthesize compliance information, identify root causes, raise and implement new compliance policies/tools, and collaborate with stakeholders and compliance teams; may lead and develop a team.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide advice, oversight, and guidance on regulatory compliance risks, control effectiveness, root cause analysis, and issue review and validation.
•Identify and assess the applicability and impact of regulations on mortgage products and lines of business, including conducting impact assessments.
•Oversee, monitor, test, and challenge regulatory compliance activities; perform RCSA and CCRA in the firm’s GRC platform with accurate risk ratings and rationale.
•Synthesize and communicate compliance information to management and produce reports; collaborate with stakeholders across the bank to understand compliance risks.
•Raise and help implement new compliance policies, practices, and tools; may lead and develop a team (hiring, coaching, performance management, training, and development).

Salary: USD 114,910 - 141,946 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years of related experience in Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or a similar field.
•Intermediate to advanced mortgage origination operations knowledge (sales, disclosures, processing, underwriting, closing/funding, and post-closing).
•Ability to assess compliance with federal and state statutes and mortgage-specific requirements (e.g., TILA, TRID, RESPA, ECOA, FCRA, and agencies including FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA/USDA/CFPB).
•Intermediate to advanced knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules, regulations, and industry standards.
•Intermediate to advanced MS Office knowledge, with focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
