Job Summary

Support application design-in and post-ramp customer needs for high speed amplifiers. Answer customer questions, review schematics/layouts, debug issues using evaluation boards, and provide on-site support as required. Build EVM and internal evaluation boards, create user guides and test procedures, and help ensure datasheet completeness. Perform bench characterization and new silicon testing, develop test techniques, and contribute custom reference designs and application notes.

Key Responsibilities

•Answer customer questions and support design-in activities for released products, including forum/email and schematic/layout reviews.
•Debug customer problems by recreating issues in evaluation boards or customer boards, and provide on-site customer board support as required.
•Design EVM and internal evaluation boards; create user guides and test procedures and release EVM boards for customer consumption.
•Perform bench characterization and new silicon testing for high speed amplifiers, including bench automation, test technique development, and destructive testing.
•Develop custom reference designs and write application notes covering use cases, implementation, and product flexibility; support early design-in activities with systems engineers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, or related field.
•5 years of relevant experience.
•Hands-on experience with ATS and VLCT (ATS 800 and ATS364; VLCT).
•Experience in applications support of analog products.
•Solid hardware and software debugging skills, with the ability to produce high quality technical documentation.
