Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute field inspections and document results against approved ITPs, quality checklists, and acceptance criteria.
  • •Verify materials, installation, calibration, and test evidence; confirm instrument identification and traceability.
  • •Inspect hazardous-area (Ex) installations within assigned competence, including equipment marking, protection concept, installation details, and documentation.
  • •Witness hold/witness points, verify readiness before inspection, and reject incomplete or non-compliant work.
  • •Raise QOCs/NCRs, support corrective-action follow-up, verify closure evidence, and contribute to daily/weekly quality reporting and handover readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree or technical diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, Automation, or a closely related discipline.
  • •Minimum 7 years of relevant instrumentation QC/inspection experience on major industrial EPC/EPCM projects.
  • •Demonstrated senior field capability covering construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning interfaces.
  • •ATEX/hazardous-area competence for the assigned scope (e.g., CompEx or IECEx certificate of personnel competence) and working knowledge of IEC/EN 60079 series.
  • •Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, datasheets, cable schedules, and vendor documentation.
