Key Responsibilities

  • •Dispense medications following prescriptions issued by authorized medical practitioners.
  • •Always speak up if safety is a concern and treat patients with kindness, respect, and compassion.

  • •Communicate effectively with colleagues to support safe, effective patient care and perform additional duties when required.
  • •Ensure relevant training and competency are undertaken, maintain mandatory training, and participate in quality improvement and governance activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Have an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority with all required qualifications and experience.
  • •Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
  • •Manage their own professional re-licensure.
  • •Communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • •Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
