Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and execute the commercial vision for Peru’s issuing and payments ecosystem business, aligning with country priorities and identifying new growth levers.
  • •Lead a high-performing sales team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • •Proactively identify and unlock new business opportunities and expand into high-value strategic initiatives.
  • •Drive upselling and cross-selling, lead complex negotiations and deal structuring, and partner with specialists to deliver tailored solutions.
  • •Influence senior decision-makers and represent Visa in key industry forums, partnering cross-functionally to execute ecosystem and country-level goals.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 10+ years with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or at least 5 years with a PhD.
  • •15+ years (Bachelor’s) or 12+ years (Advanced degree) or PhD with 9+ years experience.
  • •10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the payments industry with a proven track record in sales, business development, and client management.
  • •Comprehensive understanding of the Peru and LAC payments ecosystems, including evolving technologies and market trends.
  • •Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
