Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and deliver all aspects of cost management from inception of a project through to completion, including feasibility estimates, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, value engineering, fee generation, risk management, dispute resolution, post‑contract cost reporting and final accounts.
  • •Maintain high professional standards in all dealings with clients and contacts to reinforce the firm’s profile.
  • •Drive performance standards and technical excellence through effective communication and use of practice networks.
  • •Maintain and develop relationships with clients to uphold and grow the firm’s profile as a provider of premium cost management services.
  • •Support the internal team and mentor junior staff on technically complex projects and identify marketing opportunities for business development.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Construction or Engineering (ideally)
  • •Chartered status with RICS/CIOB/RIBA/ICE or equivalent
  • •Significant experience in Cost Management/Quantity Surveying on large infrastructure projects
  • •Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts, especially PSC and ECC
  • •Experience delivering cost/commercial management within multi‑organisation teams and engaging client stakeholders
