Key Responsibilities

•Lead and deliver all aspects of cost management from inception of a project through to completion, including feasibility estimates, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, value engineering, fee generation, risk management, dispute resolution, post‑contract cost reporting and final accounts.
•Maintain high professional standards in all dealings with clients and contacts to reinforce the firm’s profile.
•Drive performance standards and technical excellence through effective communication and use of practice networks.
•Maintain and develop relationships with clients to uphold and grow the firm’s profile as a provider of premium cost management services.
•Support the internal team and mentor junior staff on technically complex projects and identify marketing opportunities for business development.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Construction or Engineering (ideally)
•Chartered status with RICS/CIOB/RIBA/ICE or equivalent
•Significant experience in Cost Management/Quantity Surveying on large infrastructure projects
•Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts, especially PSC and ECC
•Experience delivering cost/commercial management within multi‑organisation teams and engaging client stakeholders
