Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform power optimization for physical design at the block/top-level/FC level under challenging constraints.
  • •Cover power optimization across RTL2GDS including synthesis, power/clock distribution, place and route, timing closure, and power/noise fixes.
  • •Develop power estimation and power modeling for design evaluation.
  • •Apply physical design flows and methodologies such as PNR, STA, and physical verification.
  • •Collaborate with the Networking Silicon Power engineering team to improve high-speed communication chip performance.

Key Requirements

  • •B.Sc./M.Sc. (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • •1+ years of experience in physical design and/or BE power optimization.
  • •Familiarity with physical design EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence).
  • •Native ability to leverage modern AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows, productivity, and problem-solving.
  • •Knowledge of physical design flows/methodologies (PNR, STA, physical verification) is an advantage; FE design experience is an advantage.
