Key Responsibilities

•Account Management and Lead Broker responsibilities for nominated accounts in the Pacific Region, including client advice, negotiation and placement of reinsurance programmes
•Developing and maintaining client plans, identifying regional opportunities, and understanding client business needs (financial, commercial, capital, strategic)
•Collaborating with clients to understand risk management needs and propose/implement appropriate strategies
•Negotiate terms, conditions and pricing with reinsurance underwriters and oversee the placement process
•Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters and other stakeholders in the reinsurance market

Key Requirements

•Significant experience in reinsurance broking and/or underwriting
•Strong technical knowledge of reinsurance principles, products and market practices
•Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders
•Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, including report writing and tender preparation
•Strong analytical and numerical skills, including balance sheet analysis and client research capabilities
