Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the ISSM/ISO and manage day-to-day security operations for an information system, including physical/environmental protection, personnel security, incident handling, and security awareness training.
  • •Prepare, review, and update authorization packages; develop and update authorization documentation and ensure cleared, sanitized, and destroyed hardware/media procedures are followed.
  • •Coordinate and assess security impacts of changes to hardware, software, or firmware, and support security-related documentation access and currency.
  • •Conduct continuous monitoring and periodic reviews to ensure compliance with security authorization packages; execute the cyber security portion of self-inspections.
  • •Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and support countermeasure implementation; monitor system recovery processes, collect/review audit records, and support A&A efforts for DoD and other organizations.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of related experience.
  • •2+ years SAP experience (required).
  • •Prior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator or ISSO.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in a related area, or equivalent experience (4 years total).
  • •Must meet position and certification requirements under DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level II or Information Assurance Manager II within 6 months of hire.
