Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent and model the school ethos through inspirational teaching and high expectations for student learning and conduct.
  • •Plan, teach, and prepare learning activities, taking full account of students’ individual educational needs and learning styles.
  • •Assess, record, and report on student development, progress, and attainment; provide oral and written feedback and support next steps in learning.
  • •Maintain safe, fair, and consistent disciplinary practices, protect students from abuse (including bullying and corporal punishment), and support inclusion for all learners.
  • •Use ICT and new technologies to enhance teaching and learning; communicate professionally with parents and contribute to curriculum and departmental discussions.
