Partner with business, product, operations, and engineering teams to define non-functional requirements, API and integration strategies, and event-driven models. Govern architecture standards, support pre-sales/bid solution design, and provide delivery oversight to ensure scalable, secure, compliant outcomes using Java/Kotlin, cloud-native approaches, and AWS.

•Design and review scalable, resilient payment architectures for high transaction volumes and demanding availability needs.
•Define and govern non-functional requirements (latency, throughput, availability, recoverability, observability, security).
•Shape API strategies, integration models, and event-driven architectures to support extensibility, compliance, and operational resilience.
•Define target architectures and integration patterns across payment ecosystems and enterprise platforms.
•Provide architecture oversight throughout delivery and support pre-sales/bid activities with credible target-state solutions.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Architect, or Senior Technical Architect in large-scale enterprise environments.
•Strong payments domain knowledge in card payment ecosystems and one or more value streams (Billing, Settlement & Reconciliation; Payment Processing).
•Experience designing solutions using Java and/or Kotlin technology stacks.
•Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
•Experience with messaging/streaming (e.g., Kafka), cloud-native solutions on AWS, and working in PCI DSS regulated financial environments.
