  • •Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion systems.
  • •Resolve production / technical / installation issues related to existing Raytheon or subcontractor product designs, travel to shipyards may be required.
  • •Present reviews of technical data to program leadership, technical staff, and customer community; manage related risk discussions.
  • •Lead small teams to success with schedule, budget, and technical execution.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • •Minimum of 8 years of experience in power system design, power conversion, power distribution, power sub-system design and/or control systems
  • •Experience with Naval Shipboard Electrical Standards (e.g. MIL-STD-1399, MIL-STD-917, MIL-STD-461)
  • •Ability to lead a technical team, budget, direct and peer review engineering tasks
  • •Willingness to travel to shipyards and customer sites as required
