Job Summary

Assess, diagnose, and manage speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in post-acute rehabilitation patients. Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans; monitor progress; and adjust goals. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and safe discharge, and educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and home programs; ensure adherence to clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function in post-acute patients.
•Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans to address communication, cognitive, and swallowing deficits.
•Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional communication, cognitive-linguistic skills, voice, and safe swallowing.
•Monitor and document patient progress using standardized outcome measures, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
•Collaborate with the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to ensure coordinated care, goal alignment, and safe discharge planning.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
•Valid MOH / DHA / DOH license to practice as an SLP in the UAE.
•Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in post-acute rehabilitation, neuro-rehabilitation, or similar settings.
•Proven experience in managing neurological and medically complex cases, including swallowing and cognitive-communication disorders.
•Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment tools, therapy techniques, and outcome measurement. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to optimize patient outcomes. Must be able to join immediately
