Job Summary

Serve as a regional field technician by maintaining and repairing heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts for both customers and EquipmentShare. Use the company’s technology to create and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel issues. Perform safe repairs, maintain accurate documentation, assist with technician training, and travel to customer sites as needed within the Abilene region.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment and tools using independent judgment
•Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track service intervals; order parts; and diagnose issues to determine root cause and corrective action
•Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
•Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) on a daily basis
•Assist with training lower level technicians, pick up and delivery of equipment and parts, and travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance when required

•Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
•Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, including schematics and diagrams

•Ability to travel weekly and provide superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication
