Job Summary

Leading cross-discipline project controls teams for a nuclear-focused energy and renewables programme, defining and delivering performance management cadences, planning, cost and risk controls to deliver projects on time and to quality standards. You’ll implement governance, utilise Primavera P6, Power BI and Excel, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive delivery decisions across complex programmes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead cross-discipline teams of project controls professionals to deliver robust project controls services and drive continuous improvement in processes.
•Define and implement project controls approaches across project, programme and portfolio levels to enable informed decision making.
•Establish governance and assurance processes around project controls products and ensure adherence to contract processes (NEC or FIDIC).
•Develop and maintain a robust Performance Measurement Baseline and manage change control with Integrated Project Team.
•Train and coach client teams and less experienced members on performance and reporting management processes and practices.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience across project controls disciplines (planning, cost estimation, cost management, risk management or reporting) on multiple projects across the project lifecycle.
•Strong knowledge of project controls software (e.g., Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys) and ability to coordinate with multiple teams.
•Ability to lead and develop a team, influence stakeholders and foster an inclusive environment.
•Will be able to obtain BPSS level security clearance.
•Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., Association for Project Management, Project Management Institute).
