Big Data Engineer, TikTok ShortText Recommendation Architecture

Build and optimize large-scale offline recommendation data architectures and distributed storage/computing systems that power TikTok’s short-text recommendation scenarios (search suggestions, video search bar, and comment entities). You’ll troubleshoot production systems to ensure stability, turn raw structured and unstructured data into analytics-ready outputs, and apply data mining, modeling, NLP, and machine learning to improve personalized ranking and search awareness.
