Payments Risk Analyst II

Own fraud risk identification and mitigation across Coinbase’s fiat payment rails, focusing on ACH payments. Scale detection and prevention for fraudulent deposit activity using targeting logic, and lead quantitative fraud performance analysis (precision/recall, financial impact) with clear recommendations. Partner with Product, Growth, Data Science, Risk ML, and Engineering to evolve controls from heuristic rules to model-driven friction. Investigate anomalous behavior and close monitoring gaps before losses.
