Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan audits by defining objectives, scope, timeline, and assignments aligned to internal audit standards.
  • •Identify and assess risks, evaluate controls, determine testing strategies, and leverage data analysis to test control effectiveness and compliance.
  • •Summarize issues, prepare clear audit reports, and present results to stakeholders.
  • •Collaborate with management to develop risk-mitigating recommendations and action plans, and perform follow-up to validate remediation.
  • •Lead on-site plant audits, including using dynamic plant risk assessment and conducting walkdowns/visual inspections to validate control operation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • •3+ years of relevant experience in audit, power-plant or industrial operations, EHS compliance, or reliability engineering (preferred).
  • •Strong understanding of risk-based internal auditing, including planning, risk assessment, control evaluation, sampling, data analytics, and reporting.
  • •Audit-relevant certification such as CPA or CIA (or relevant plant operations certification preferred).
  • •Experience/knowledge of power generation, industrial operations, plant systems, safety and environmental regulations, and maintenance/reliability practices; SAP or Maximo experience is preferred.
