Key Responsibilities

•Identify scraping attack vectors in navigation data and design/deliver detection and defense systems.
•Research mitigation strategies used by other companies and adapt them to Mercado Libre's ecosystem.
•Collaborate with development teams to build and deploy defenses across systems.
•Continuously monitor scraper behavior to detect anomalies and new patterns.
•Respond quickly to changes in scraper strategies by adapting countermeasures.

Key Requirements

•Experience in scraping, anti-scraping, or offensive security applied to digital platforms.
•Knowledge of residential proxy infrastructure, IP rotation, evasion techniques, headless browsers, and web automation.
•Understanding of how a browser reveals identity via JavaScript signals, TLS fingerprints, and Canvas/WebGL fingerprints.
•Strong programming skills in Go, Java, and JavaScript, and data platforms like BigQuery.
•Experience with Generative AI tools applied to software development and monitoring platforms (e.g., Datadog).
