Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure accurate communication of requirements for materials and services to suppliers and execute export/import requirements, including supporting telecons, meetings, and required documentation and reporting.
  • •Analyze supplier quotes/proposals, perform complex cost & price analysis, and negotiate reasonable prices and terms and conditions.
  • •Place letter subcontracts and purchase orders, facilitate change management with documentation in EPAD, and manage Firm Fixed Price, letter subcontracts, and cost-type POs in accordance with FAR/DFARS.
  • •Manage and report supplier performance metrics across cost, quality, and schedule, including material sales reporting; present root-cause and corrective actions to leadership based on metrics and supplier issues.
  • •Prepare and issue requests for proposals based on technical, quality, delivery, and FAR requirements; develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations; proactively manage suppliers to support on-time delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years).
