Key Responsibilities

•Manage end-to-end catastrophe risk projects for clients, including directing teams of analysts and coordinating with brokers and other stakeholders.
•Utilize models such as RMS, VERISK, ERN and IF to perform catastrophe risk analyses and provide meaningful insights to clients and brokers.
•Collaborate with brokers to assess and consult on client risk exposures and strategic reinsurance programs.
•Prepare property insurance risk data for catastrophe analysis using SQL and data conversion tools, and run catastrophe modeling software on client and prospect portfolios.
•Communicate estimated losses and risk insights in real time, respond to broker/client inquiries, and identify process improvements to share with the team.

Key Requirements

•5-10 years of experience in catastrophe modeling with major model providers (VERISK, RMS), with deep knowledge of model methodologies and underlying assumptions.
•Bilingual in English and Spanish.
•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with practical PowerPoint experience.
•Experience preparing data for catastrophe risk analysis using SQL and data conversion tools.
•Strong analytical problem-solving abilities with proven communication of analyses to clients.
