Job Summary

Lead technical development for 2K’s motion capture (mocap) stages, driving improvements to motion capture technology and expanding your expertise across programming, audio/video production, and automation. Manage a small agile team covering mocap QC and processing, tool development, and technical operations. Partner with production, shop, stage, and operations to ensure hardware and software stay functional, current, and the studio runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the development of motion capture technology and continuously expand knowledge across programming and automation.
•Lead a team of technical professionals focused on mocap tool development and technical art.
•Ensure mocap hardware and software are functional and up to date so the studio operates smoothly.
•Collaborate with production, shop, stage, and operations teams across 2K Mocap to support stage workflows.

Salary: USD 123,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience leading and organizing a technical team of 5 or more people.
•Experience solving complex technical problems under pressure.
•Experience designing large mocap camera layouts and troubleshooting mocap systems.
•Experience using Motionbuilder, Maya, Shogun, Motive, and Unreal Engine, including their associated APIs.
•Basic understanding of Python application development.
