Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist senior staff in activities such as aircraft fuel handling, wheels and brakes servicing, nitrogen recharging, and engine servicing.
  • •Carry out basic support servicing and/or component replacements as instructed and supervised by Licensed Engineers.
  • •Inspect all equipment before use to ensure operational status and inform the supervisor on duty of any faults for workshop repair.
  • •Maintain tools, equipment, and systems (including Ultramain) in the relevant workplace.
  • •Ensure self and others’ safety by following safety precautions, keeping the working area clean and obstruction-free, and supporting cleaning of aircraft/engine parts and push-back operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Vocational/12+2 or equivalent Vocational/National/Higher National Diploma, or Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electronic, Avionics, or Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent training with a reputable airline or approved maintenance organization.
  • •Preferred experience in an engineering environment.
  • •Full awareness of safety procedures.
  • •Be able to assist licensed engineers with basic support servicing and/or component replacements.
  • •Inspect equipment before use and report faults to the supervisor/workshop for repair.
