Job Summary

Maintain and stabilize the Flow Production Tracking (formerly ShotGrid) environment that drives daily production for 300+ users. You’ll focus initially on the Flow/Jira Bridge—standing up an internal studio-owned setup, ensuring data integrity, re-architecting automation/event listeners for reliability and security, and troubleshooting issues across internal and external partners. You’ll also administer Flow (schemas, permissions, dashboards) and document configurations and recovery procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Stand up and maintain a studio-owned Flow/Jira Bridge instance so configuration, deployment, and recovery can be managed internally.
•Stabilize and ensure data integrity between Flow and Jira, with initial focus on bridge stability.
•Re-architect Flow automation and the event listener layer for reliability and security, including migrating off the current virtual machine.
•Troubleshoot Flow and Flow/Jira Bridge issues for internal developers and external partners, serving as the primary escalation point.
•Administer Flow day-to-day (schema, permissions, page layouts, custom fields, entity relationships, and project setup), and design Flow dashboards/reports/custom pages; audit and document configuration and recovery procedures.

Key Requirements

•5+ years administering Flow Production Tracking (ShotGrid/Shotgun) in a games, VFX, or animation production environment, or equivalent education/experience.
•Experience operating in a multi-vendor co-development environment.
•Shipped at least one AAA title with Flow/ShotGrid as the production system of record (preferred).
•Hands-on experience with the sg-jira-bridge (or comparable Flow/Jira integration), including independently reading, modifying, and deploying the Python service.
•Working knowledge of the Flow Python API and Toolkit (tk-core, pipeline configurations, YAML configuration).
