Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake detailed maintenance and inspection activities on air-electric bay components in accordance with approved technical information and work packages.
  • •Diagnose and resolve faults and maintenance issues, including carrying out component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, replacements, and functional/system testing.
  • •Maintain personal task authorisation and log books, sign other personnel’s logbooks as appropriate, and support OJT training activities.
  • •Lead by example to meet delivery targets, monitor progress, provide reporting to the supervisor, and identify and escalate issues affecting continuing airworthiness.
  • •Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, quality, and contractual requirements, including documentation of maintenance activities and maintenance of airworthiness records.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of Typhoon Avionic Trade ‘Q’ Course and an engineering apprenticeship (ideally aeronautical or military equivalent).
  • •Academic qualification of minimum City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • •Aircraft platform training (on-a/c requirement) and broad in-depth product knowledge within the technical subject area.
  • •2+ years working at Supervisor level prior to undertaking a Senior role, with currency/recency demonstrated via a Log Book.
  • •Demonstrated competency in supervising maintenance activities and working safely using aviation safety standards and Expositions/functionally mandated procedures management training.
