Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver quality antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team according to clinical standards and legislation.
  • •Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing, and managing risks in line with clinical risk policies and procedures.
  • •Plan and implement patient care priorities, ensuring compliance with nursing standards and timely, organized completion of care.
  • •Provide comprehensive direct and indirect care tailored to patient needs, including education, counseling, and support for women, families, and communities.
  • •Maintain accurate clinical records, use medical equipment for emergency/resuscitation, support quality assurance/risk management, and maintain confidentiality.

Key Requirements

  • •3 years of clinical experience as a midwife after completing a midwifery program and registration/licensing as a registered midwife (overseas candidates).
  • •Minimum 1 year in GCC (preferred).
  • •Recognize and apply basic pathophysiology in the nursing/clinical process and provide age-appropriate care.
  • •Knowledge of infection control, pain management, and wound care practices and standards.
  • •Ability to recognize complications during labour and refer care to appropriately qualified healthcare professionals in a timely manner.
