Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform unit-level maintenance on aircraft powertrain and rotor systems.
  • •Remove/replace powertrain components and disassemble, repair, reassemble, adjust, balance, and align powertrain and rotor assemblies per directives.
  • •Apply corrosion preventative procedures and clean, preserve, and store powertrain and rotor components.
  • •Operate and maintain ground support equipment and common/special tools (AGSE/PGSE) and maintain storage of returnable and hazardous materials.
  • •Enter, review, and update aircraft maintenance forms and records; provide OJT/coaching/mentoring and support maintenance coordination and safety requirements.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •8 years of experience as an aircraft powertrain mechanic.
  • •Successfully completed and qualified by the appropriate U.S. Government armed forces Powertrain course or civilian equivalent training.
  • •Proficiency using computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and related aviation maintenance documentation.
  • •Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including communicating with customers professionally.
  • •Valid state or Government-issued driver’s license; must be a US Citizen and pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.
